"I purchased the 2015 Toyota 4Runner Trail Premium primarily as an off-road vehicle where it exceeds my expectations for capability. In comparison with other competitive vehicles there are definitely some things that I would change, however:* The nose is much too long, and it's all one piece. This places great restrictions on forward approach angles compared to previous generation 'runners. Also, the single piece is prohibitively expensive to modify or replace -- so much so that third party aftermarket bumper and bull bar manufacturers have still not been able to engineer a suitable product for it. This is such an issue that I may end up selling the vehicle for a competitive model with a front end that allows for modification and steeper forward approach angles.* Add the bluetooth wireless charging, please! * All other manufacturers feature mid-row seat recliner handles at the rear of the vehicle, which greatly simplifies the loading of large and long cargo pieces without having to drop the load, run to the side of the vehicle, open the door, and drop the mid-row seats...then repeat on the other side.*Kudos for keeping the manual lever 4WD transfer case on the Trail Premium! My friend has a 2013 Land Cruiser with an electronic knob for the 4WD transfer case and the knob electronics failed, forcing him to drive out 50 miles in 4-low. Not fun. Toyota's quality is legendary (with the aforementioned exception) and I'm optimistic that the 2015 4Runner will live up to the legend."
